Practice Concentration
Services include representing clients in all aspects of general civil litigation and appellate practice.  Also advises attorneys, office holders, candidates and organizations in the areas of ethics, campaign finance and election laws, statutes and regulations.

Representative Experience
Over 25 years experience advising and representing clients in the areas of litigation and administrative law, ethics, election law and as a corporate counsel, including the following:

•	Represented and advised clients in litigated disputes, including:

º   Representations in administrative hearings, jury and non-jury trials in federal and state courts, appeals, and extraordinary writ actions  º  Representations in mediations º  Prosecution or defense of litigated matters involving business disputes, injunction and declaratory judgment matters, antitrust claims, contract disputes, defamation claims, intellectual property disputes, rights to governmental licenses or benefits, and other areas of civil law

•	Advised and represented judges, lawyers and those who deal with the government on how to meet their ethical and legal duties and defended clients against claims that they have failed to do so, including:

º  Defense of Governmental Ethics matters before the Ohio Ethics Commission, the Inspector General’s office, and the Joint Legislative Ethics Commission º  Defense of Legal Ethics matters before the Ohio Supreme Court’s Board of Ethics and Grievances, the Disciplinary Counsel, and bar association Certified Grievance Committees º  Trial of the only adversary evidentiary hearing ever held before JLEC

•	Advised and represented clients regarding election law and public policy matters, including:

º  Representations before the Ohio Elections Commission, Federal Elections Commission, Ohio Secretary of State, Ohio Auditor of State, and Boards of Elections º  Litigation of election and public policy matters in federal and state courts  º  Advice and representation of clients ranging from township trustees to presidential campaigns, county, state and national political parties, caucuses, issue oriented groups, and trade associations

•	Representation of non-profit entities, including:

º  Service as General Counsel º  Advice with regard to contract, employment, antitrust, corporate structure and governance matters º  Representation in litigation
