The Chester, Willcox & Saxbe LLP law firm announced today that James D. Abrams has been named partner effective January 1, 2010.    

Mr. Abrams concentrates his practice in all aspects of civil litigation with a focus on commercial matters. Prior to his legal career, Mr. Abrams was a senior executive serving both publicly traded and privately held businesses, including tenure as chief financial officer for GAP, Inc. and Williams-Sonoma, Inc.  He is listed as an “Ohio Rising Star” by Law & Politics.  A graduate of San Francisco State College, he holds an M.B.A. degree from California State University, Hayward and earned his J.D. degree from Capital University.
