The Chester, Willcox & Saxbe LLP law firm announced today that W. Zachary Holzapfel has joined the firm’s governmental relations division, CWS Governmental Relations, Ltd. as a lobbyist effective December 28, 2009.    

Mr. Holzapfel has an extensive background in health care regulation, public health policy formulation, Medicaid and state and local government issues.   He has previously worked in the Taft and Strickland administrations, Ohio Attorney General’s office and the Ohio Department of Health.  He is a graduate of Capital University and holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Ohio University.
